SzeptEmber Feszt 2018 Fair, Gastronomic and Cultural Festival

On the 21st to the 23rd September 2018 the SzeptEmber Feszt is once again in the Budapest Népliget (People's Garden). A cavalcade of gastronomic delights, great concerts and excellent events - there’s something for all age groups.

Visitors will be presented with a plethora of genuine gastronomic experiences. There will be fish dishes, game and traditional Hungarian cuisine prepared by the head chefs of famous restaurants to stimulate the appetite. Did you know that goulash is originally a soup? Well, if you would like to try "goulash", then here you should order "pörkölt" at the Stew Square where you can choose from 30 types of stew.

Feszt-goers to the 3-day festival will be entertained by concerts on the 5 stages with a wide variety of music too, mainly pop, rock and jazz.

There is also plenty for those who come to the Népliget with children. Little ones will love the tales games, playhouse, handcrafts, funfair, stroking the animals and pony-riding set up for them in the "Children's Empire". The baby feeding and nappy-changing tent will make everything that little bit easier for those families with small children.

In between concerts or tastings you may want to take a look at the American and Tuning Cars Meeting where you are sure to find real rarities among the several hundred cars - classic and more modern. Craftsmen will demonstrate their handcraft skills and the artwork market, Health Island and archery are just some of the numerous interesting things to see and do.
